At Panoramabar in Berlin Steffi was closing saturday into sunday afternoon……. She played it twice(!!!), at the begining of her 5 hour set and as the last track…. PERFECT!!!! ???
The problem I have with this track is that my volume dial only goes to 10 and not 11!! MASSIVE tune!
There was an underground house watering hole - a juice bar called "Alcatrazz". It was hot in the early 1990s---DJs spun a lot of Chicago house/techno/rave/deep house/synth-pop dance hits there. I was there some of the nights and I was able to bask into the vibe of Chicago house....although I think I did not get a chance to see Frankie Knuckles.
Alcatraz did a bit of sampling of "Move Your Body" of Marshall Jefferson in this dance number, but they tweaked it so it did not anger Marshall or stuff like that.
Listen to the tightening of the samples at the 2:59 mark. I guess this is the song's first "riser". Oh yeah! EDM can be cool.
