I bought the Velvet Opera's first LP in 1967 and still love it, especially Side 1, Track 1 - 'Mother Writes'.

Members of this band went on to greater success with other acts. Paul Brett well known bass session player. David Terry with Stretch and the other two Rick Hudson and John Ford joined the Strawbs and as a duo finally as Monks.
