Son Of A Gun, the collaborative album by Carey Bell and Lurrie Bell, is a blues masterpiece that showcases the unparalleled talent of these two musicians. The album features a mix of original compositions and covers, each of which is expertly crafted and performed with soulful precision.
The opening track, "One Day You're Gonna Get Lucky," sets the tone for the rest of the album with its smooth guitar riffs and Carey Bell's signature harmonica sound. Other standout tracks include the haunting "Last Night," the upbeat "I Got To Find Somebody," and the title track "Son Of A Gun," which features some of Lurrie Bell's most impressive guitar work.
