Review by ZunNurain Khalid

Sukiyaki And Other Japanese Hits by Kyu Sakamoto is a classic album that showcases the talented singer's unique style and captivating voice. Released in 1963, the album features some of Sakamoto's most popular songs, including the title track, "Sukiyaki," which became a worldwide hit.

The album is a perfect representation of the Japanese pop music scene of the 1960s, with its catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and infectious rhythms. Sakamoto's voice is smooth and soulful, and he effortlessly switches between different genres, from the upbeat rock 'n' roll of "Kyu-chan no Zundoko-bushi" to the melancholic ballad "Miagete Goran Yoru no Hoshi wo."

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Anoko no Namae wa Nantenkana," a playful and charming song that showcases Sakamoto's playful side. The song has a catchy chorus that is sure to get stuck in your head.
