Enter The Realm Of Death by Runemagick is a dark and atmospheric album that takes the listener on a journey through the depths of the underworld. The Swedish death/doom metal band creates a haunting and eerie atmosphere with their use of slow, heavy riffs, ominous melodies, and haunting vocals.

The album begins with the track "Temple of Skin", a slow and brooding song that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's use of atmospheric keyboards and haunting clean vocals add to the overall sense of dread and unease.

Throughout the album, Runemagick showcases their ability to create a diverse range of sounds within the death/doom metal genre. From the slow and crushing riffs of "Beyond Life" to the more melodic and atmospheric "The Seal of the Eastern Gate", the band keeps the listener engaged and interested throughout.

One standout track is "The Serpent's Rite", which features guest vocals from Kam Lee of Massacre. The combination of Lee's brutal vocals and Runemagick's atmospheric sound creates a truly haunting and chilling experience.

Death/doom metal band from Ljungskile, Sweden. Originally formed as Desiderius in 1990. Their name was quickly changed to Runemagic the same year, and were active until 1993. After a nearly four year hiatus, they returned as Runemagick in 1997.

The band's second 1999 album, Enter the Realm of Death, features less Black Metal buzz and something more akin to Doom/Metalcore, thus sounds more primitive and dissonant. However, some tracks feature fine riffs.Highlights: "Longing for Hades".
