Chick Corea - Music Forever Beyond

Chick Corea's latest album, Music Forever Beyond, is a stunning showcase of his virtuosic piano playing and his boundless creativity as a composer. The album features a mix of original compositions and jazz standards, all performed with Corea's signature flair and precision.
From the opening track, "Antidote," Corea sets the tone for the album with a driving rhythm and intricate melody. He is joined by a stellar ensemble of musicians, including bassist Carlitos Del Puerto and drummer Marcus Gilmore, who provide a solid foundation for Corea's improvisations.
Throughout the album, Corea explores a variety of moods and styles, from the contemplative ballad "A Spanish Song" to the upbeat and funky "Portals to Forever." His compositions are complex and multi-layered, yet always accessible and engaging.
One of the highlights of the album is the epic "Galaxy 32 Star 4," a 22-minute tour-de-force that showcases Corea's ability to create a vast sonic landscape with his piano. The piece builds and evolves, incorporating elements of classical music, free jazz, and world music into its intricate structure.
