About Anders Saus
Anders Saus (born December 22, 1919 on Sausvatnet in Brønnøy, died June 24, 2003 in Oslo) was a Norwegian singer, composer, copywriter, musician and writer.
He was educated in accordion from the Music Conservatory in Oslo, and was active as both writer / composer and performer. In 1949 he debuted (with the songs "When the Northern Lights Floods" and "The Show about Nordland") with his own sixth. He was an active and well-known instrumentalist on accordion, including many radio concerts behind him.
As a blind from birth, Sauce, from the late 1940s to early 1970s, participated in the Blind Federation's tours, where he developed a good working relationship with the already established duo "Engedahl and Stordahl".
Sauce debuted as a writer in 1973 with the novel Mot dagning. The authorship comprises a total of six books, all historical entertainment novels from rural communities. At the 1973 debut, a reviewer wrote in the newspaper Østlendingen that "The entertainment novel has received a renewal".
