Review by A Fitzgerald Breland, B.A., M.P.A.

Cellos by Ulrich Mitzlaff Miguel Mira is a mesmerizing album that showcases the beauty and versatility of the cello. The album features a collection of original compositions and improvisations, all performed with incredible skill and emotion by the two cellists.

The album starts off with the hauntingly beautiful "Canto," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The two cellos weave in and out of each other, creating a rich and complex tapestry of sound. The improvisations, such as "Improvisation 2," are particularly impressive, showcasing the cellists' ability to communicate with each other and create something truly unique in the moment.

The album also features some more traditional compositions, such as "Suite for Two Cellos" and "Prelude in G Major," which are played with the same passion and skill as the improvisations. The two cellists have a wonderful chemistry, and their playing is both technically impressive and emotionally moving.
