About Typical Sloan

Typical Sloan was formed in the spring of 1996 when Rob Alderman (vocals, guitar) went through the wrong door in his dorm at Lee University and saw Jeff Ringer's bass guitar sitting in it's stand. "Hey& Let's start a band." Rob said. So Rob, Jeff and Jeremy Todd (drums) practiced in the basement of their dorm that night, and an indie legend was born. For the next three years the band would tour the country, playing for anyone who was willing to listen. They lived in their van, and ate untold amounts of Wendy's 99 cent cheeseburgers.
