Review by Brianna Freauff

Milwaukee Blues by Ted Prillaman & The Virginia Ramblers is an impressive album that showcases the band's talent and love for traditional bluegrass music. The album features 12 tracks that are a mix of original songs and covers of classic bluegrass tunes.

The band's instrumentation is excellent, with Ted Prillaman on guitar and lead vocals, John Glick on banjo, Mike Conner on mandolin, and Jason Anglin on bass. The Virginia Ramblers' harmonies are tight and add a great depth to the songs.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Big Spike Hammer," a cover of a classic bluegrass song that showcases the band's instrumental prowess. The album's title track, "Milwaukee Blues," is a Prillaman original that tells the story of a man down on his luck in the city.
