Tara Anne - Eleven Eleven

With her breathy tones, soulful harmonies and vibrant outlook on life, Tara Anne believes that music is the key to feeling each emotion to its highest potential. Shes been a life long musician who only recently decided to take a chance on herself. Her struggles with infertility and loss gave her the strength to write music that would help others heal. Her music is her way of bringing to light the struggles that women face but are too afraid to talk about. Tara believes it's time to shine a light on these issues and let others know it's okay to talk about it and that there is nothing to be ashamed of. She is releasing her debut EP called Eleven Eleven on November 11, 2018 followed by her debut music video for her song, Break Away. At the early age of seven, Tara knew that the piano and music would be her best friend. She grew up singing in church choirs, playing the piano for school choirs and even sang in a sister trio group. Her Filipino influence gave her a stage to expand on her musical abilities with her involvement in various Filipino dance and music ensembles. In her late teens, she started performing as a solo artist and had the opportunity to open for a Grammy nominated artist in 2013 with a local band. Tara performed at notable venues in Seattle such as the Show Box, Paramount Theater and Benaroya Hall with numerous music groups. The pressures of fitting into a 'mold' lead Tara to drop music and focus on her studies. She eventually graduated with her MBA in 2015 but was still not satisfied. Although proud of her accomplishments, she knew the only way to a fulfilling life was music and her faith. She moved back to Tacoma, Washington, joined a local worship team and took on music full force. Tara would describer her style as indie-folky pop with a dash of contemporary soul; Colbie Caillat meets Norah Jones and moved in with Ingrid Michaelson style. She notes that although her album is pretty heavy, she is a witty and outgoing human being with a quirky personality. Her husband, family and friends would describe her as the cheesiest woman alive. Not only because she loves cheese but also because she is constantly telling dad jokes. She loves her two dogs and husband Ankit more than anything in this world. Her ideal Friday night would be cuddling on the couch with her little family watching a fun holiday movie or anything to do with Will Ferrell. Tara is working on filming a second music video for her song, 'Your Soul' to bring more awareness to women facing infertility. She is also currently working on writing a contemporary piano album and collaborating with producers to create music for TV/Film.
