@Halo2glitchlover22 at one point he was. he has several songs ranked in the trance top 1000. 139. Deadmau5 feat. Kaskade - I Remember (Original Mix) 191. Deadmau5 - Strobe (Original Mix) 230. Deadmau5 feat. Rob Swire - Ghosts N Stuff (Original Mix) 316. Kaskade & Deadmau5 - Move For Me (Original Mix).. thats just some of them.. you can argue that they arent trance but they've been voted as otherwise.

deadmau5 is in a genre of his own, but "I remember" is definitely trance.
