About Rush
Canadian heavy progressive rock trio, formed in 1968 in Toronto, Canada. Disbanded in 2018.
Rush retired from touring after the R40 tour when announced he would retire due to health reasons. In January 2018, said in an interview that Rush's career had come to an end. On January 7, 2020, after a three-year illness, Neil Ellwood Peart died of glioblastoma at age 67, his passing was officially announced on January 10, 2020.

Been a Rush fan since first hearing them in the late 1970s. But, I do not care for this video.
Not a great Rush fan , but the opening guitar riff and the play on ‘The sound of Silence’ always attracted me to this song.
I will always love this song
First time hearing this or any Rush song, so honest opinion.. The music and instrumentation is absolutely great in a progressive rock kind of way. The lyrics are great too. But the vocals I don't like at all, they sound too whiny and high pitched, kind of ruining the song for me. Don't hate

I saw Rush in concert in 1979 at the Charlotte coliseum. It was just as good as the album. I’ll never forget it.
