About Roine Stolt

Swedish guitarist, songwriter and singer, born September 5, 1956 in Uppsala. He is the front man in the Swedish progressive rock bands and . Stolt's career began in 1974 when he became a member of the Swedish symphony rock band at the age of seventeen. He appeared as a guitarist and songwriter on three albums before leaving the group in May 1979 to instead pursue a solo career. However, it was not until 1994 that he with his solo project The Flower King achieved such great success that it was possible to form a real band again and play live regularly. This was the start of the band . In 1999, together with , and , he formed the supergroup . In 2008, Stolt started the project with, among others, the singer . Roine Stolt is today one of the most well-known musicians in progressive rock. During the 2000s, he has appeared on three albums with a revived and two albums with . During the 2010s, he has toured with and done a duo project with .
