Life On Display is the third studio album by American rock band Puddle of Mudd, released in 2003. The album showcases the band's signature post-grunge sound with heavy guitar riffs, catchy hooks, and introspective lyrics.

The album's lead single, "Away From Me," is a standout track with its hard-hitting chorus and emotional vocals from lead singer Wes Scantlin. "Spin You Around" is another standout track, showcasing the band's ability to write a radio-friendly rock song.

While the album does have some filler tracks, overall, it's a solid effort from the band. The album's title track, "Life On Display," is a slower, more introspective song that showcases Scantlin's songwriting abilities.

thought id leave a comment nobody will probably read and just say that as someone who didnt like puddle of mudd when they 'came onto the scene' as i was a 90s kid that literally grew up on nirvana soundgarden n STP n such lol.. so to me and my weird young attitude i just saw these guys here as sell outs riding on the backs of the people before them. as ive gotten older ive changed my mind about that, and i just felt like communicating that. i think they did a pretty good job of carrying on the whole grunge/post grunge scene. their sound is tight, at least in recordings (never seen them live). wish i could have not been such a weird music snob and enjoyed them back then. oh well, i could just be super high.

The band's 2003 album, Life on Display, was the first recorded and released without Fred Durst as the band manager, but musically it sounds like a poorer, more hastly-done replica of their debut.

I hung out with Wes one time after a show they played at the Rock box in San Antonio Texas. The show was amazing of course and Wes was so nice to me. He gifted me his scarf that night, it was such an amazing night. His band member are super down to earth. I love those guys. I went to see them in Keller Tx and I got to hang out with them that night. The guys were sitting at the bar after the show and I went over to introduce my self and get a picture. I couldn't believe they were just there sitting having some drinks. Michael John Adams is such an amazing guy. After I got my picture with them Michael asked if I wanted to join them at their table. I sat between Michael and Matt and had an amazing night chatting with the guys. That was one of the top 10 best moments of my life.
