Lush. John McLaughlin caused a major shift in his listening habits. My paraphrase.
Myself also. Paused the McLaughlin interview, to hear what he was referring to. I read the whole Jeff Beck book that way — i highly recommend that btw…
straight from the same interview
Oh, a music to me
Great.
Check out vaticancatholic.com for important information to save your soul
It's hard in today's music scene to really appreciate how absolutely mind boggling Davis was in his earlier prime. We all of course remember him through the 60's - 80's, but the 50's were a time of true "avant-garde" movements in jazz, never to be seen again.
????
? Music!
Love this song!
To be honest I came here from an interview of John McLaughlin ... He cited it as one of his most influential music .. and I'm really happy to be here ... To anyone reading this I hope you have a good day and a great life ! Thank you ....
Album an ABSOLUTE classic !!
I want everyone to know how SO SO glad I am that this has no down thumbs. (4/13/2019)
Herr Davis is the greatest musician America ever produced. Good Day my fellow men.
This piece was giving me goosebumps since I was a kid, when my father was listening to the record on the turntable...
la grace divine
Great music, and art
Don't see jazz trough the lens of popular culture, just listen to it for what it is
