The Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz wrote the novel Quo Vadis: A Narrative of the Time of Nero (1895-96), which in turn has been made into motion pictures several times, including a 1951 version that was nominated for eight Academy Awards.[4] For this and other novels, Sienkiewicz received the 1905 Nobel Prize for Literature.
When Ursus entered the scene I saw the first person who looks like a man.
He was not good in this movie. Good looking, not good acting. Not much emotion here.
My grey-haired colossus

my dad name me after her , although spells different, and is not a common name but I like it
Hi you see this one for me...
Ever since I read in a book about MGM that Gregory Peck and Elizabeth Taylor were to star in this movie if shooting went ahead in 1949 with John Huston as director, I can't enjoy watching Robert Taylor in it. He's a good actor, but not great. Deborah Kerr is, as always, very good though.
υπεροχη ταινια!!!!!!!!!
What a pisspoor 'actor' Robert Taylor was ...that awful robot voice and the lack of emotion. One of Hollywoods worst.
:)
well that didn't go as he planned
No one knows that Lygia was from Slavic territories.... ;)
"I'll tell you what, Lygia..."
Portrays the early church with such splendor, in China there are house churches made out of rocky creags and you can worship for hours on end w/ out disturbing the cops. I've been given eye warnings before, been taken aside and such like. Given the oh, its not allowed here. speech etc. But even to make a booth out of a table and two chairs at least its something.
Amazing Movie. Great Cinema and Actors .????
