Review by Boris Strahija

Max Steiner's album, "Gone With The Wind E O Vento Levou," is a masterpiece of orchestral composition. The album features captivating arrangements of some of the most iconic themes from the classic film "Gone With The Wind," and showcases Steiner's exceptional talent as a composer.

The album opens with the sweeping "Main Title," which immediately transports the listener to the world of the film. The lush strings and brass create a sense of grandeur and drama that perfectly sets the tone for the rest of the album.

Other standout tracks include "Tara's Theme," which is a moving and emotional piece that captures the essence of the film's heroine, Scarlett O'Hara. The haunting "The Death of Bonnie Blue" is another highlight, with its mournful strings and woodwinds that perfectly convey the tragedy of the scene.

Throughout the album, Steiner's use of instrumentation and orchestration is masterful. He seamlessly blends different instruments and sections of the orchestra to create a rich and layered sound that is both powerful and nuanced.
