I actually enjoy some of the songs on this album due to the fact that the chord progressions and melodies don't always follow a predictable path. Such examples of this are the title track and riff-heavy numbers 'Cry', 'That Holy Touch', and 'The Face Of The Enemy'.It is a slow-burning affair for the most part however and the drums in particular often lack the punch and attack necessary for the rockier songs. The arrangements follow the usual meticulous standard this band adheres to and provide more evidence of the fact that they simply don't know how to make a bad album.
