Review by Al Silva

Louis Jordan and His Tympany Five's album is a classic masterpiece that showcases the best of swing and jump blues from the 1940s. The album features some of the most memorable tracks of the era, including "Choo Choo Ch'Boogie," "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens," and "Caldonia."

Jordan's impeccable musicianship and his band's tight arrangements create a lively and upbeat sound that is impossible not to dance along to. The album's playful lyrics and catchy melodies make it a joy to listen to from start to finish.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby," which features Jordan's smooth vocals and a swinging horn section. The song has become a classic over the years and is still a favorite among jazz and blues enthusiasts.
