Review by Gazeta Zwezda

The album Prolusion by Left Orbit Temple is a captivating and entrancing musical journey that will leave listeners spellbound. The album is a masterclass in sonic experimentation, blending elements of electronica, post-rock, and ambient music to create a unique and otherworldly sound.

From the opening track, "Dystopian Utopia," the listener is immediately drawn into a world of ethereal soundscapes, pulsing rhythms, and haunting melodies. The album's standout tracks include "Synthetic Memories," a brooding and atmospheric track that builds to a powerful crescendo, and "Echoes in the Void," a dreamy and hypnotic track that showcases the band's mastery of intricate sonic textures.

The album's production is exceptional, with each track expertly crafted to create a rich and immersive listening experience. The musicianship on display is also impressive, with each member of the band contributing to the album's complex and intricate sound.

Notes

Soon after performing about fifty shows with Pigface, James Teitelbaum recruited A. Sam Pleur to create the ensemble studio project Left Orbit Temple. A prototypical lineup created The Ice-Nine EP in 1997. In 2000, the full-length CD Prolusion was released.
