Review by Emerson Muniz

Kevin Chalfant's album Fly 2 Freedom is a stunning collection of songs that showcase his impressive vocal range and artistry. From the opening track "Fly to the Angels" to the closing ballad "When I Look into Your Eyes," Chalfant delivers powerful and emotional performances that leave a lasting impression.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Hold On to the Vision," a soaring rock anthem that inspires listeners to never give up on their dreams. Chalfant's vocals are particularly impressive on this track, as he effortlessly hits high notes and belts out the chorus with passion and intensity.

Another highlight of Fly 2 Freedom is the duet "I Will Remember You," which features Chalfant's daughter, Hannah. The father-daughter duo's harmonies are beautiful and poignant, making for a touching and heartfelt tribute to loved ones who have passed away.

Guys, he was never part of Journey. He was part of a group called The Storm which had members of Journey in the lineup. Namely, Gregg Rolie, Ross Valory, and Steve Smith. They only had two albums. This is a Journey tribute album.

He should have been Steve Perry's replacement instead of Steve Augeri.

A pity that a lot of people compare him with Steve Perry. They're two different kind of singers. The only thing they have in common is that they can reach high notes. Ofcourse Steve is "the Voice

Whatever you say, I saw Kevin Chalfant when he toured with The Storm and he was absolutely awesome - I closed my eyes as they did this song and I swear, it was like being at a Journey concert. If your a Journey fan and don't own a copy of The Storm, find it (or better yet, listen to it on Youtube) - he would have been the best fit to replace Perry ~ AND he's a genuinely nice person. @lyngoodwin, yes, and he's a STAR in his own right! Thanks Lynn.

You are correct - I sounded far too brusque and unfair. Chalfant is after all doing a cover, not an imitation, and the man is a good singer, no argument.

they sing with the same ranges that's why they do sound a like..and if you're doing a cover you better not mess up with the arrangement that's why everybody sounds like Perry
