The album opens with a swinging rendition of "Take the A Train", which immediately sets the tone for the rest of the album. Hämmerli's saxophone playing is impeccable throughout the album, and he is backed up by a tight and talented group of musicians.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Mood Indigo", which Hämmerli and his band turn into a slow and sultry ballad. The saxophone and piano solos on this track are particularly impressive.

Another highlight of the album is "Caravan", which features some fantastic percussion work and a great bassline. Hämmerli's saxophone playing on this track is also top-notch.
