Matrix / Runout: NAHIO 26618About Eurythmics
British synthpop duo: (b. December 25, 1954, Aberdeen, UK) and (b. September 9, 1952, Sunderland, UK).
They first recorded together as members of new wave band who would change their name to and enjoy two UK top ten hits in early 1980, but disband before the year was out. In 1981, Lennox and Stewart made their debut as Eurythmics, though they struggled to gain recognition at first, only breaking through with their sixth single "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)". This was the turning point of their career. They continued to be one of the leading synth groups throughout the eighties. After a long period of solo activities in the early and mid-90s Eurythmics re-united for one album and charity world tour in 1999 and in 2004 for the release of extended, remastered and repacked editions of their previous albums and a second hits compilation. Eurythmics released one song (b-side of "Put A Little Love In Your Heart" by Annie Lennox & ) under the alias "The Spheres Of Celestial Influence

Takes a Litlle time..... Takes a Little time....
I love to…
❤
This is a fantastic little gem. Video is great too, like a lysergic sequel to I Love to Listen to (Beethoven). This track evokes a sort of distant world of gay underground clubs and drug induced euphoria, straddling italo-disco and nascent Chicago house. AL's beautiful vocal cuts through it all with seamless grace.
Very much the sequel to "I Like to Listen to
The Savage Video needs a bluray release.
Savage,m such a breath of fresh air for Eurythmics. Thank goodness they went back to their roots. Heaven is synth funk heaven and Annie's look was sublime
My favorite version of her look.
takes a little time, takes a little time, takes a little time....
A delicious tune - did not know there was a video - thanks for posting :)
Always will be a classic! Still sounds fresh and current even today!
Excellent
Jesus, took me 3 hours to find this song!!
Timeless!
This is a neat music video.
What else would an angel sing about...
so glad this is posted thanks such album
B-side of 'Beethoven', what a combo.
When it came out in 1987 it was just fun for us, watching sexually-bored Annie Lennox (as faded Diva) crawling and pulling herself drunk across the walls in soulless America.
Almost 20 Years later, this is nothing by high art!

Just a French dude Who loves this video too ??
Lennox looks like a goddess in every goddamn video.
I love this because it's very Andy Warhol: Glamour and boredom.
I didn't see this video for many, many years, but in CD back then it sounded just wonderful.

This sounds like Giorgio Moroder. I'd be surprised if he wasn't involved in this song.
nice one john
I LOOOOVOE Savage! For me, it's the follow up to Touch and I chose to IGNORE the hideous period that came after Touch and before Savage. Stunning track *+*
