Review by Sherry

Buster Brown's album Something To Say Let Me In is a soulful and dynamic collection of tracks that showcase the singer's powerful vocals and songwriting skills. The album features a mix of blues, rock, and funk-inspired tracks that are both nostalgic and contemporary in style.

Brown's voice is the standout feature of the album, with his gritty and emotive delivery adding depth and authenticity to each song. The lyrics are introspective and personal, exploring themes of love, loss, and self-discovery in a way that is relatable and heartfelt.

The album also boasts impressive production, with each track featuring a rich and complex arrangement of instruments that complement Brown's vocals perfectly. From the driving guitar riffs of "Let Me In" to the soulful horns of "Something To Say," the album is a masterclass in musical craftsmanship.

Thanks for posting John. I've been a fan of AC/DC and Rose Tattoo since around 1980, and would've loved to have been in the scene, so feel a mixture of admiration and envy. I grew up to be a writer, and there's been a rock theme through my books, with the lyrics of 1980s rock and metal an inspiration for my words. Angry and Bon inspired characters in my Werewolf of Oz book, and I embedded your video in the latest installment of its serialisation on my greenygrey.co.uk/blog/?p=12920

great record! Im a big fun of ac dc, but now have much better understanding what was going on over there before they gone overseas... as I understand there were a group of bands who played that straight in your face rock n roll. mile stone in history of rock. so, you cane be proud being part of that....

Suparik2.... yep the same line up! We did Chelsea Town Hall quite a few times, in fact that was the first place we ever heard Z Z Top's La Grange (it was played by the DJ who was from 3XY... don't remember his name).

Glad you like the album! I'm the guy standing 2nd on the right (to Phil's left). Wow... nearly 40 years ago since we made that album. Unfortunately as is the case for most bands vinyl didn't really capture what the band was like live... we were a lot more aggressive live. I've always thought that Rose Tattoo was the "grown up" version of Buster, and that is pretty much what we aspired to (but with the addition of keyboards).
All the best
